ClearVU Camera Solutions LLC (“ClearVU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) runs clearvucam.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, buy a kit, apply to become an installer or dealer, or contact us, and how we use and protect it.

Information you give us

Orders and accounts: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, the products you buy, and your order history.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe and the payment options it offers at checkout (such as Klarna, Affirm, Amazon Pay, and Link). We do not see or store your full card number.
Forms and messages: anything you send through our contact form, email signup, or by email and phone, including vehicle details you share with us.
Installer and dealer applications: business name, contact person, email, phone, business address, business type, and related details.
Reviews: your name, rating, and any comments, photos, or videos you submit.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you got to the site, and the actions you take (such as adding items to your cart). We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

How we use your information

To process, ship, and support your orders, including order confirmations, shipping updates, returns, and warranty claims.

To review installer and dealer applications and, once you’re approved, list your business in our installer locator.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies to keep your cart and account working. We also use the following third-party tools:

Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand site traffic and measure ad performance.
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure ad performance and show relevant ads.
Cloudflare Turnstile and Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam and abuse.
YouTube embeds for installation videos and Google Maps for the installer locator. These services may set their own cookies when you use them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site (like the cart and checkout) may stop working. You can also opt out of personalized ads through Google Ad Settings and your Meta ad preferences, and out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Installers and dealers: if you ask us to connect you with an installer, we may share your contact and vehicle details with that installer.
Legal reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ClearVU, our customers, or others.
Business transfers: if ClearVU is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty support, accounting, and tax purposes. We keep other information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving marketing emails, by contacting us at customerservice@clearvucam.com. If you have an account, you can update your details on your Account page. Depending on where you live (for example, California or Canada), you may have additional privacy rights, and we will honor them as required by law. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and PCI-compliant payment processing. No website or online transmission is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our site links to other websites, such as YouTube, social media, and installer websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
